Our Easy Return & Exchange Policy

If you're not completely satisfied with your order, you can return your items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or an exchange. Please note: delivery times may vary, so the 30-day period begins from the date your order is delivered.

Vehicle-Specific Fit Guarantee

All Car Shades AU products are model-specific. If the shade you receive doesn’t fit your vehicle or you believe the wrong item was sent, contact us within 30 days with photos of both the item and your vehicle. We’ll assist with fitting, and if we can’t help, we’ll offer a full refund or replacement.

Change of Mind or Incorrect Order (Non-Faulty Items)

  • Returns or exchanges due to change of mind or incorrect orders are only accepted if the item is in merchantable condition—unused, with original packaging and accessories intact.
  • The customer is responsible for all return postage costs in these cases.

Faulty or Damaged Items & Consumer Guarantees

  • If you believe your item is faulty or damaged, please reach out within 30 days with photo evidence. We may request additional information to assess your claim.
  • For approved faulty items, we will provide a prepaid return label. Do not send the item back until authorised, as we cannot reimburse you otherwise.
  • We will not send a replacement shade until we receive the returned item.
  • We honour your rights under Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees for faulty goods.

Processing Time

Once we receive your return, please allow up to 10 business days for processing. If approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please note: it may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account.

Lost in Transit & Free/Bonus Items

  • We cannot process refunds or exchanges for bonus items included with your purchase.
  • We do not refund items that are lost in transit or are still listed as “in transit”.

How to Return or Exchange an Item

1. Contact us first
Email us to request a return or exchange. Include your order number and photos of the product and/or vehicle if it’s fit‑related.

2. Receive confirmation
Once approved, we’ll send return instructions and a prepaid label if necessary.

3. Pack and send back
Return the item securely, making sure your address and our returns address are clearly displayed.

4. Processing & resolution
We’ll confirm receipt by email and begin our 10-business-day review process. If your return/exchange is approved, we will notify you and issue a refund or replacement accordingly.
